Jenbacher J624 GS

Making technology history

GE has unveiled the world's first 24-cylinder gas engine for commercial operation. With enough output to power 9,000 European households, the Jenbacher J624 GS represents a quantum leap in gas engine technology. Capping two years of development, this unique product adds another solution to our gas engine portfolio, uses several fuel sources to protect our environment and builds on our vast expertise. Our first field customer will be a greenhouse operator in the Netherlands, with serial production of the engine scheduled to start in 2009.
